The most common polymer for metal replacement is Grivory/Zytel that can be reinforced with glass fiber from 50-70%. High content of glass fiber is tearing hard on mold, machines and peripheral equipment. To have competence and deep know-how in how to construct detail and mold is crucial to the outcome. The importance of maintaining the mold/machinery in order to obtain optimal capacity and an even production flow, is very high.
